• Having unprotected anal or vaginal sex with person living with HIV
• Sharing sex toys
• Sharing needles and other drug using equipment, including cookers, cotton filters and rinse water, and bluetoothing (sharing blood via injection)
• Using unclean tattooing equipment
• From an HIV infected mother to baby during pregnancy, childbirth or breastfeeding (especially if she is not taking medication for HIV that reduces the amount of virus in her blood)
