Sleep
Sleep, especially night sleep, is one of the most important drivers of growth hormone secretion and a good time to repair tissues and prepare the brain for later activities. The length of sleep required per person varies. One person may need eight hours of sleep and the other may need more sleep.
Generally, a sleep period is considered sufficient if the person does not feel sleepy and is alert during the day. So by sleeping late or not getting enough sleep, the body loses a golden opportunity to repair tissues and cells and prepare the brain for activity and learning.
Make sure you get 8 hours of sleep a night or more during puberty.
