Psychological changes in girls
Adolescence also brings about psychological changes in your emotions, desires, perceptions and imaginations. This is a period that separates you from your childhood and brings you new perspectives and skills to transition into adulthood. Certainly the help of your parents and those around you is a great way to successfully manage this time in your life. Don't worry if:
- You want to be alone some or most of the time
- You are irritable and bad-tempered for no reason
- Your moods change suddenly
- Trivial matters become important and valuable to you
- You think life is absurd and pointless
- You spend more time fantasizing and daydreaming
- You care a lot about your appearance and clothes
- You have become touchy and sensitive
These experiences are all part of most people’s adolescence. Everything is changing and you have to adapt to those changes.
